More Six Word Stories

Seeing this post reminded me that quite some time ago I wrote a handful of six word stories. Yes, they are exactly what they sound like: stories that have just six words. Here is my previous collection if you want to go back to the depths of August 2011 to see how I fared then! So, the challenge has come up again. Let’s see what I can manage this time.

The knife… her hand… penny drops.

26 miles, exhausted,  finish line beckoning.

This disease, millions dead. I’m alone.

‘Engines failed but… we landed… Mars.’

My body – there… I’m a ghost?

That was just as hard and again I think I covered a range of genres – crime, general fiction, post apocalyptic fiction, sci fi and supernatural mystery. I might try this more often! Incidentally, there is now a website where you can submit your six word stories. It’s right here so go and take a look!
